The Columbus Peaberry

The northern coffee growing regions of Tanzania, home to the historic Mt. Kilimanjaro, provide the rich soil and unique microclimates that shape the distinct flavors of this rare peaberry coffee. This vibrant, smooth cup is worthy to bear the name of the dynamic city our roastery proudly calls home. Glory to Columbus!

POETRY: Light Roast Pairing

Well crafted words create distinct experiences in our imagination. POETRY pairs two delicate East African coffees creating memorable flavor experiences: notes of rich roasted nuts lead to subtle, stone fruit sweetness.

ORIGINS: Medium Roast Pairing

East Africa is a story of origins: man, civilization, and, yes, coffee! ORIGINS pairs two smooth, yet full flavored coffees, creating notes of fresh roasted nuts and subtle chocolate. Make every day special with this celebration of coffee’s East African origin.

IMPACT: Dark Roast Pairing

Smooth, rich, sweet drinkability define our philosophy for this special coffee. IMPACT pairs two coffees grown in two distinct mountainous and fertile regions of Tanzania. Both are perfectly dark roasted, creating colliding notes of rich cocoa and light citrus.

Paired Coffees from East Africa

A paired coffee is a combination of one coffee roasted two different ways or two distinct coffees roasted separately and then “paired” to highlight complementary flavors.

From more than a decade of experience roasting coffee in East Africa, our founder and lead roaster takes great pleasure in pairing complementary coffees from East Africa and presenting them in a light, medium or dark roast profile.

Our rotating, paired coffee offerings begin with the East African country of Tanzania. Coffee from the stunning Southern Highlands in the mountainous region of Mbeya, is paired with coffee from the fertile soil surrounding the famed Mt. Kilimanjaro in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania. These “two mountain” pairings are more than a mouthful of delicious.
